If none of these work or if you want more quotes, try www.movecars.com. This is a website that has a lot of transporters on it. We have used Passport before also. Be aware there are a lot of small outfits with only one or two trucks and a lot of broker deals where they pick up the car and take it to a warehouse until they can fill up a truck load of cars. We prefer to use Intercity, DAS, Passport, Elite, Horseless Carriage, etc. rather than experiment, but sometimes you can get very good service (a faster pick up and delivery) and a good price by looking around, and even if you don't, it might make you more comfortable that Intercity and DAS are giving you reasonable prices and excellent service.

How can you assist with selling my car, truck, boat, or van?

If we can obtain at least 40 to 120 good digital photos of your vehicle and a Listing Agreement, we will prepare a national marketing program for your vehicle including a professional and effective ebay listing with all of the pictures on the website, e.g., of First Trade Registry, which receives hundreds of clicks per day and will put your ad at the top of web search results.

If you cannot provide the photos and neither can we, we will hire a professional photographer to take digital photos of your vehicle. They must be high quality photos that show local and long distance purchasers everything about the car. We will add our commission to the asking price of your vehicle and it will be $500 to $2000, depending upon the vehicle and the services that we provide, as stated in the Listing Agreement that you will review and approve in advance. Our commission is payable only if we bring you a buyer and an acceptable price. If we do not sell the car, you are responsible only for actual advertising costs plus a $100 fee for photos, photo editing, and ad composition.

Should you wish to proceed, we need to photograph and see the car. We also need your name, address, and contact information. We will send you a Listing Agreement for your review with no obligation.

I have a specific vehicle in mind that that I will buy. I cannot find one. Can you assist?

We offer a search and find service GUARANTEED to find the vehicle you want for $300. The fee is payable $150 upon inception of the search and $150 upon completion. We will search and screen ads and leads until we find the vehicle that you buy or we will refund your deposit.

Should you wish to proceed, we need a description of the car that you will buy, including year, make, model, colors, equipment, acceptable condition, mileage, and any other specific requirements and price target. The price must not be a wholesale price and it must be within the expected fair market value for that vehicle. We also need your name, address, and contact information. We will be happy to send you a proposed Buyer’s Agreement for your review at no obligation. This fee covers our search services and finding a car that you are able to inspect and view.

If there are no vehicles available within the area in which you are able to travel to inspect and view the vehicle, we offer our complete Long Distance Purchasing Service for an additional $900, payable $450 upon inception and $450 upon completion, and it includes the following services:

- Photographs of the most closely matching target that you have agreed to buy.

- Obtaining a mechanical inspection of the most closely matching target.

- Negotiating the price, writing a purchase agreement and bill of sale, supervising transfer of funds and title, and supervising the shipping of the vehicle from the seller to the buyer (shipping cost is not included in the fee).

We will search until we find the vehicle specified that you will buy or we will refund your deposit(s).

If I find the car myself, can you assist in completing the sale?

Yes, it is possible. It will be a business decision whether the remaing work and fees are acceptable.

Can you assist with mechanical inspections and transportation of out of state vehicles purchased back to my location?

Yes, we can recommend and assist in procuring appraisal, mechanical inspection, and transportation services.

If I buy a car out of my state, do I have to pay that state's sales tax?

- No, the sales tax is paid at the time the vehicle is registered, and should usually be registered in the state where the vehicle will be stored or garaged.

Can I use your service if I am going to lease my next car?

Most dealers will provide the most efficient leasing sources, which weI will analyze and explain all of the calculations to you. In rare cases, I can obtain or refer you to third party leasing companies.

Can you find financing for my next vehicle purchase?

Many of our customers have their own financing or pay cash or use the dealer financing.. Our volume of customers needing financing is not large enough for us to market these loans to banks.
